Welcome to job4you.ca. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and services. By registering an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Overview

job4you.ca (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a Canadian job posting platform designed exclusively for employers to publish job listings and receive applications from job seekers.

This service is only available for use within Canada.

2. Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 18 years of age;
  • Authorized to act on behalf of your company or organization;
  • Using the platform solely for business-related recruitment purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user that violates these Terms.

3. Employer Accounts

Only employers may create accounts on job4you.ca. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information;
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials;
  • Be fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You may not share your login information with unauthorized third parties.

4. Job Postings

Employers may submit job postings for a fee, which will be disclosed at the time of purchase. You agree that:

  • All job listings must be truthful, lawful, and clearly describe the position;
  • You will not post discriminatory, misleading, or deceptive content;
  • You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove any job posting that violates our policies or applicable laws.

5. Payments

All job postings are paid. By submitting payment, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees in Canadian dollars (CAD);
  • Use a valid payment method;
  • Understand that fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers. We do not store credit card information on our servers.

6. Resume Delivery

We do not maintain a searchable resume database.

Resumes are submitted directly by job seekers in response to your job postings.

You agree to handle any personal information (e.g., resumes, contact info) in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including Canada’s PIPEDA.

7. Platform Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse any part of our platform;
  • Contact applicants for purposes other than employment;
  • Use automated systems (e.g., bots or scrapers) without our consent.

Violation may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

8. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on job4you.ca (excluding user-submitted content) are our property.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or display any part of the site without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimers

We provide our platform “as is” and do not guarantee:

  • That you will receive applications;
  • That applicants will be qualified or truthful;
  • That there will be no interruptions or errors on the site.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, job4you.ca is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the site, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

You may cancel your account by contacting us directly.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will provide notice via email or on the site. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
